Carr Family Fun!: November 2006

Matthew is 3 months old!

Wow! I can't believe it's been 3 months already! He is lifting his head and chest off the ground when he's on his stomach. He's rolled over from tummy to back only one time, and it looks as though he'll roll from back-to-tummy really soon. He is constantly cooing and making sounds, and he smiles a lot! He also giggles from time-to-time, especially when he's tickled a little. He kicks his legs when he's excited. He sleeps through the night almost all the time. He's such a good baby, and Jonathan and Ashley do well with him.

Ashley's first dance performance

Ashley is in a Creative Movement class at BalletMet. They don't have official recitals yet, but every 3 months they give us a little performance to show us what they are learning in class. We don't get to stay in the room when they go to class, so it was fun to see what they've been doing. She looked like she had a lot of fun!

Ashley's first pet

Ashley got a parakeet for her first pet. She named him Tweety. That poor bird had to put up with some trauma from our dog, Eli, just one day after coming home with us. After a vet appointment that cost twice what the bird did, he came home with us and proved to be a tough old bird (ha, ha) as he is still alive and kicking. He's really tame and she loves to hold him.

Happy Halloween 2006!

Last Halloween, I didn't even know we would have a new addition to celebrate with! This year, we were able to enjoy it with 3 kids instead of 2! It was fun, and Ashley really hauled the candy in as you can see by the picture!
